The fishing season in Iceland started on April first and the opening few days have been very successful with the internet filled with photos of happy anglers.
Our very own Holsa East Bank opened for sea trout and i was fortunate enough to catch the first fish of the season with ample help from my two sons pictured with the fish. The Holsa is an exciting choice for a group wanting to catch sea trout. It has an excellent self-catering lodge and 15 km of river to fish.
We look forward to the next few weeks with plenty of trout fishing to be had and then the salmon season starts in June.
