The sea trout fishing season has now been open for just over two weeks and we are hearing reports of good catches all around. We did experience a few days with very cold weather which put a dampener on the catches but once it got warm again we were in business.
I had the good fortune of fishing our very own Holsa east bank and caught the stunning fish pictured. The Holsa is excellent for a group of friends or family fishing as it comes with an excellent lodge right on the riverbank. I caught my fish only about 60 meters from the veranda of the lodge!
