The East Ranga is one of the most productive salmon rivers in the world. In 2023 the river was second best in Iceland with 2606 salmon caught for the 18 rods. Even though that is a pretty decent catch it is not come close to our best years. It follows the trend in Iceland which had a pretty bad year overall.
But even in a year with “only” 2606 salmon the catch is some of the best you will in the world for Atlantic salmon. And we are quite optimistic that next year will be better. Where will you be fishing in 2024?
