It has been a strange summer indeed with catches in most rivers below average. In west Iceland it has not helped that it has not rained for one and a half month and the rivers are in dire need of water. On a lighter note the fishing has been quite good in the Ranga rivers lately with catches per day up to 70 salmon. Lets take a look at the top ten list:
